The youth group at Suber Road Baptist Church is a place for teens to strengthen their faith, learn to study the Bible, and develop meaningful relationships within the larger body of caring Christians. We aren’t interested in mere conformity. Instead, we want to help teens live outwardly in a way that reflects the One inside them and the power of His Gospel.

We do manage to have plenty of fun along the way! From tubing and scavenger hunts to camp and mission trips, our youth group is on the go. But entertainment isn’t our primary focus. Activities and fellowships outside of church are key times for our youth pastor, Jim Wetterlund, and adult sponsors get to know our teens and encourage them spiritually. And in Sunday school and on Wednesday nights, we provide teaching that’s focused on the hearts and needs of young people.

Our theme verse is Galatians 2:20: “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Join us as we learn what this life of faith is all about!
