Our goal is not just to get missions done through our church family. We want our church family to "get done" through missions. By participating in missions projects or mission trips, we grow as believers and gain a wider vision of the work of the Kingdom.
At Suber Road we have a three-pronged approach to Missions:
First, we support "traditional" missionaries. These are missionaries who minister, long-term, on a selected mission field. We have missionary pastors, evangelists, and mission board representatives in this category.
Second, we promote short-term mission opportunities. These are members of our church family who go on mission trips on their own or sponsored by our church. Our church sponsors at least one mission trip each year. We have sponsored trips to Tennessee, New York City, Colorado, Wyoming, the island of St. Vincent, Canada, Mexico, and Peru. Team members raise their own support for these trips.
Men For Missions is another way that our church family is actively involved in short-term mission work. Under MFM organization, members of the church family are able to work on construction projects and other types of physical assistance to missionaries and church planters. We have opportunities throughout the year to participate in a variety of these kinds of projects, in and outside the United States.
Finally, we support church planters. Our support to these missionaries is dictated by the area where there church is to be planted. Typically, our support is for 3-5 years or until the church is self-supporting. We currently support two church planters.
We support the following missionaries on a monthly basis:

Mark Ring, COMFORTING MERCIES MINISTRIES
In an effort to reach the Spanish world for Christ, Comforting Mercies produces English and Spanish music and Bible story recordings. These recordings are being used by missionaries and mission teams all over the countries of Central and South America and Mexico. Comforting Mercies Ministries seeks to assist churches by helping them "multiply their influence" through these recordings. SRBC regularly takes these recordings on mission trips in the US and abroad. Handing someone a tape or disk gives a great opportunity to share the Gospel. You can view the available recordings and order online by clicking on the picture below.
